Personal Message

Thank you clients, veterinarians, breeders and organizations for your confidence and support. I am truly grateful to the veterinarians who have recommended Pup-Eez since we began.Programs are developed to assist you in real-life situations . Communication is strengthened with a “marker”, (well-timed praise) and a variety of rewards to promote reliability. Food is a great reward for many dogs however sometimes we need to be creative for some.As temperament is our number one priority we are committed to teaching owners appropriate responses should their dog have a strong reaction. Most pups / dogs have “hot button” issues. This can be anything your dog reacts strongly to. When my own dog, Billie the Border Collie, was 9 weeks of age she had a very strong reaction to being brushed. This puppy loved everyone and everything. Observing such a response was a shock. Through gentle desensitization techniques Billie was being brushed without any reactions by 13 weeks of age. I have come to realize how crucial it is for owners to become aware of any strong reactions. Fear is usually at the root of these “hot button” issues. Please know there are techniques which even the most novice dog owner can apply to eliminate these fears which all will benefit from.Anyone who has taken part in our classes or in-home training has the opportunity to contact us anytime there are questions or concerns regardless of how much time has gone by. It is comforting to know if you see a behaviour you are unsure of we are just a phone call away..
